The Gear Tips Trekking Experience 2019

The Gear Tips Trekking Experience 2019 was an innovative event that showcased the main backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, footwear, clothing and other trekking equipment with the technical eye of someone who has been working in the market for over 20 years.

This face-to-face event took place between April 5 and 7, 2019 at the Hotel Donati, in the lower part of Itatiaia National Park (RJ).

An intensive weekend with lots of useful information for those who enjoy trekking and hiking.

The Donati Hotel

A hotel located in the lower part of Itatiaia National Park

The Hotel Donati was built in 1931 by Robert Donati, even before the Itataia National Park was created. With a large green area, it offers accommodation in cozy mountain chalets with a fireplace. Its leisure area has an indoor thermal pool, sauna and other attractions, as well as hiking trails to the waterfalls. To top it all off, the cuisine is creative and attentive to the choice of healthy and nutritious ingredients.

Located in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, it offers a total of 23 chalets, divided into 3 categories and a large leisure area with more for the entertainment and well-being of guests, with soccer and volleyball fields, a games room and a massage area.
